Pricing? Heard $70-$80k launch date USA heard June '08

I am hopefully going to Detroit motor show in January to take a look in person, but have already lodged interest with local Nissan dealership.

Updated just heard from my local Nissan dealer August 08 is the date for first vehicles.

Also heard a rumor that you may only be able to buy the GT-R directly through Nissan USA in an attempt stop dealers hiking up the prices over MSRP, interesting......

I really hope this is correct, but it seems like that would remove a lot of the motivation for dealers to invest in the GT-R specific maintenance facilities.

That might be pointless.

The car could change colors at the flick of a switch.

It would add great versatility to the GTR versus the current P-cars and other market competitions. I would not get too excited about the advancement. I have yet to see Nissan's self-healing paint.
The ability to change the color of an item through adjusting iron oxide particles has been in development for years, it is especially useful in military applications.
