So my day job, I'm the founder and Chairman of StreetFire.net, so I have a lot of great opportunities to work with video production companies shooting cool car content (VODCars, Garage419, SPEED Channel, etc). Well, one of those partners is Torque.tv who produces a show called Head to Head. They already finished up Season 1, and last week they shot Season 2 at Willow Springs.

I came to spectate, but due to a couple of no shows, they asked if they would mind putting my GT-R up against a 997 GT3. I can't talk about results until after the show is launched in a few weeks, but since I've seen that comparison brought up a few times here on 6speed, just thought you should know the video is coming.

Very cool, looking forward to it. You are very brave to put your car up - I hope it is nice and broken in, you know how cars improve with at least a few k miles.

I'm "Flog it if you own it" type car owner. I got this car to have fun and show other people a good time, so that's what I'm trying to do with it. I spent an afternoon with Jay Leno a few months back. The thing that stuck out from my conversation with him was when he said "It's the responsibility of those of us with great cars to share them with other people". That's what he's doing, and I'm trying to follow that lead best I know how.
