Best Street Launch Technique?

I have no interest in trying the brutal "launch control" launches, but would be interested if anyone has found a compromise street launch technique.
I find that if I stomp on the gas at a light, the car hesitates before it hooks up the clutch, then the turbo needs time to spool up, so the whole process before reaching 3000 rpm and "really getting moving" is close to a second.
I have tried all the switch settings, but they all seem to give the same outcome. I also tried (hesitantly) doing a bit of "give it some gas while holding the brake" like an automatic, but that seems to make it bog down even more.
Your tricks/experiences would be welcome.
By the way, notwithstanding the sluggish launch off the line, according to my G-tech it can still do 0-60 mph in a bout 4.1 - 4.2 seconds using this street launch technique.
Thanks

Just curious, have you compared Auto vs Manual mode along with the diff settings? I'm thinking Auto R might be the fastest?

Also, as I am sure you know, the fluids need to be all warmed up for the best results

Yes, I have tried every combination I could think of, short of activating launch control. No measurable difference.
Yes, the can was fully up to temperatures.

Why not use Launch control? Is this not why they have it on the car? I am just curious as I dont know as much about these GT-Rs and the transmissions. If it was so harmfull why allow the consumer to even have that option? Not trying to sound like a ***** but just curious. Thanks for the information.

It is a very brutal technique that is hard on drivetarin components.

Nissan reports that the clutches/transmission is good for 100-200 launches. They also officially say that using it voids the warranty!
....And it draws lots of attention on the street.

Wrong, they have no official stance on the use of LC.

Due to US laws they cannot say that it WILL void warranty only that it could void warranty.

Remember SMG in BMW and LC? They lowered in the US because they could not say that they would void your warranty with LC. So they toned down the LC to help the driveline from abuse. They could deny claims if you used it excessively - I say could not would.
