Anyone get them for sticker yet?
I wouldn't doubt it for a second, I would never put anything past a car dealer. However, I have seen the window sticker, and unless they can forge it I believe it was a new MSRP car.
Additionally, they have been nice and very accommodating to me. (which doesn't mean they aren't lying, just makes me feel "good")

What dealership was this at? I've been looking around in OH and none of the dealerships are dealing...

carmax gets 6 per yr as well.
I'm in the same spot and couldn't agree more. I know the prices are coming down but it is frustrating watching the Porsches and Astons come down while most dealers seem to be sticking to their prices on GTRs.
i have been offered 3k off the new MSRP at 77,770. White/Black Premium, with ipods and floor mats. Found a titled car with 66 miles with all plastic over seats, flipper's car. Same combo, but old MSRP, He's having a hard time getting rid of it. I also came across two or three dealers that has the old MSRP cars, been offered sticker(old MSRP), and another one at 73k, didn't take them because it wasn't my color. The economy is bad, all other higher end cars are taking huge hits, the GTR should be no exception. Hopefully these Nissan Stealers realize will understand this soon. Many dealers out there has 2 or more 09 GTRs on their lot and the 2010 GTRs are already at port waiting to hit the show room, by then they will be flooded with inventory.
GTR is a fantastic car, and I am in the market for one. However, I do not see these things holding it's value. Nissan dealers should realize what is going on with the rest of the world instead of thinking that the GTR they have is a very exclusive car with very limited production and that people are willing to pay a PREMIUM for them. All these sales person/managers tells me stories about how some GTRs went for 100k+ and all the other dealers are asking 10-20k over sticker...blah blah blah...
the market is crap... GTRs prices should be where they were before the price increase. My 2 cent after doing research for the past 3 weeks!

North Coast Nissan has an Old MSRP car with 1,000 miles put on by the owner and they still want a $5k markup. I "inadvertently" laughed right in the owners face when he told me that.
Ken Ganley Nissan wanted 15k over as of a month ago.
I got mine from Mike Barney Nissan in NY. Its about a 4 hour drive away, but it will be a nice trip home.
Thats because the Ohio dealerships are f-ing idiots.

Congrats on the deal! I'm sure it'll be a nice drive back. When you picking it up?
Maybe I'll run into some time. I have a few friends in the Cleveland area.
I've only seen a black and white one around here.
dealers are not going below their invoice margin (ordering a gt-r before sept 5th, and attempting to sell it at new msrp because it just arrived, etc...).
the problem with looking for gt-r's for a better bargain, is that the gt-r is the one car that nissan is hitting it's target. every other car is not doing that. in fact, percentage wise of cars produced, it's one of the best selling cars out right now. they are not going to lower too much. you may have to wait another few years (or a another couple thousand points off the dow jones) to get one below old/new msrp.

I see dealers now lowering 2009 cars to around MSRP to make way next month for 2010 cars. So finnally deals can be had. But hopefully you can find a old MSRP car. There are still a few out there
Thats very true but none the less they have to get rid of the 2009. I havent seen production numbers on 2010s but nissan did lower it
then they increased this number to 2400 for the initial introduction. so the decrease down to 1500 was planned. it would be a reaction to the market if they make less than 1500 for all of north america.
either that or they are going to disperse the 900 car overage over the following 4 years. basically nissan said back in '07 that there would be about 7500 made over 5 years.
the original release numbers were 1500/yr for 5 years... (north america)

I sell BMW in Flemington NJ and the GT-R's sold at our Nissan store were all sold at MSRP and not a penny over. This includes the very first one. The owner here does NOT allow cars to be sold over list. He feels this will help promote business in a positive way and he said he makes enought at list price to be happy. This is the only place in the enitre country that I know of that has this policy. Belive me I could ahve sold many a car over list but we dont do that. I would be happy to do it because I would make more money but i get what he saying.
In the past it has included other cars such as the Ford GT, BMW Z8, Audi R8, Vette ZR1 (any vette for that matter), GT3 RS (any porsche inc. carrera GT) and many others. He has people that he knows who buy them and he trust they wont screw him and sell them over list as a used car. If they do then they dont get a shot next time. I sold many BMW's (inc the 1st M5/6) and sold them all at list and not a penny over. We dont add any accesiories or aftersale CRAP and the customer can order the car the way they would like.
