r34 awd

so im pretty sure im getting an r34 next year.. i no i wanna be sliding and i dont doubt the r34 on drifts from what i read see hear etc... but ive been reading forums and is awd not good if u wana be sliding..is it better to change the car to rwd? thanks for any answers

Just about all Professional Drift teams that have a AWD car like a evo and skyline remove the drive shaft suppling power to the front wheels to convert it to a RWD car.

On getting an R34 next year good luck. I hear that the EPA, ICE, DMV in California is confiscating previously registered cars

R34 GTT is a RB25DET version that's RWD from the factory. It's an excellent car for sliding around in and RB26DETT upgrades (if you just have to have the highest cash-drain drivetrain that it will take) is possible.

If you don't mind me asking, where will you be sourcing the r34 from? I'm in the market for one myself also.

And with the above post, most AWD cars will cut power to the font wheels with the removal of a fuse.
