Interesting indeed. The one I drove a couple years back was not Manual which I dislike. If I am correct, I felt a one full second delay once I slammed on the throtle. Next run, I slammed on the throtle at first green light and by the time it was third I was off the line. Not sure why and did not even ask the owner either.

It is really just a 3k RPM clutch dump.

Congrats Jamie. Auto or manual doesnt matter to you lol. That is faaast especially for such simple mods. Gotta love the GTR. Just cant beat a turbo car in general for easy gains. Looks like shes faster than your ACR and FGT now. Anymore mods planned for the GTR not that it needs it at all. Switzer?

lol! They all come with the DCT manual (that can operate in automatic mode).

It sounds as if you were using launch control succesfully (or you were driving one in the interim between LC1 and LC2, when the touch points were reset to 0/0 - mine was just like this).

I'm seriously considering getting a GT-R next year to park next to my GT2. It sounds like a great car!

Thanks! And I do love the GTR its just a cool car and I love F1 style trannys, and I hate shifting so thats a plus. Definately a lot quicker than the ACR but the Ford GT went 10.69 at 136 last April on a regular track day so its still got it covered for best time and mph, but I sure wouldn't want to have to braket race the GTR with the GT it would be curtains. As far as any more mods, not for me as I like it just the way it is, its perfect now and really when do you need a street car faster than 10.7?

A street car that is drivable and hits 10s I would not mod that car further, IMO.

True. 10s are more than enough for a street car. Forgot the GT was beast.

Those were impressive times today. There were two silver GTRs there today, right? I could be mistaken, but it looked like both were in the 10s.

Quit downplaying your shifting, you and Ranger can shift the daylights out of a tranny. I know all about your Corvette records!
