The 997.1 GT3 trails behind the GTR IMO but I dont know about the new 997.2 GT3.
Jman,

That sounds like a nice plan for your GTR. I may folow suite. If I do go with the GTR, I'm thinking white and painting the spoilers white also.

Good luck with your decision mate. Im extremely happy with my GTR route when I dropped my 09 C2S exactly a week ago. Since then, I've added HKS Spec-R titanium exhaust along with HKS midpipe which woke up the exhaust notes 10 folds. White GTR looks best IMO and Im certain you'll be a happy camper too.

jacx920 can only hope to improve
I went on a NYC Run last night and all I have to say is the GTR is a ****ing beast.
The other thing I would comment on about the two cars- I would feel 99% safer in the GTR then the GT3. The GTR is large, and you can feel it, I haven't been in a GT3, but from what I can see the GT3 is not a tough-built car, and if you are planning on having kids, and living a happy life with your wife, I would take the safer route and get the GTR, which it seems like you already made up your mind on. Good choice
