Do you have any stats for how it cools the transmission? I am assuming there is some optimal operating temperature and you don't want to have it too cool or too hot.

 

Without a transmission cooler it is very easy to throw the car into limp mode as temperatures of over 280 degrees can be seen after a few hard laps. With the addition of the HKS DCT cooler we have found it difficult to pass 245 degrees. This obviously allows the car to stay on track longer without the fear of excessive transmission temperatures. And to add to what Ryan posted above, the GT-R has no trouble at all keeping fluids warm. So you won't need to be concerned, even with coolers, of your fluids running too cool. Thanks for the questions and let us know if we can help further. The HKS cooler has proven to be the best race tested solution on the market at keeping GT-R transmission temps at a reasonable level. If you do any amount of track work at the HPDE2 or higher level, consider this a mandatory upgrade.

This is one of the mods I had planned asap. Is this the cooler that adds extra oil capacity to the circulating system? Please PM me your best price. I was going to wait a few months, but if price is right, I'll get going on it now. Also, I may want to get with you guys about an E-Tune. My car is tuned already, but I want to bump it up a lil to utilize 100-104 octane.
