GTR buying advice
Guys,
I'm seriously considering to buy a GT-R and need your opinions. Found 2 cars, one is a '09 model with 1k km's only and the other one is a '10 with 3k km's.
The '10 is significantly more expensive than the '09.
My question is, any major differences '09 vs '10? I have heard there are some upgrades on the tranny with the '10's, but is this mechanical or electronic? I've seen some tranny failures on the '09's, all without even using the LC. Would it worth the price difference, other than the model year differences? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance..

There are no big differences between the '09 and the '10. All updated '09s have the same launch control that the 10's have. This is designated as LC2, vs. LC1 TCM programing. There was a reported increase of 5Hp due to a small ECU tune. The subtle change in HP can be negated with a COBB accesport (or Haltech for that matter). The '11 got a little different suspension setting along with some changes in the sound-proofing and a reported LC3.
The big differences between the '09 and '10 are the changes to the wheel colours. The '09 winter package wheels are a true silver while the summer package is an anthracite colour. The '10's and 11's have a "near-black" summer wheel and an anthracite winter package wheel. The real changes to the R35 GT-R will come in 2012. You really can't go wrong with any year. The transmission problems are over-hyped.
