AMS GTR NEW WORLD RECORD 9.1@ 163 street GTR
awesome.. they took apart one on scales i saw 39XX so with driver is 4k+.. So it has 200lbs or weight reduction either way you look at it.. regardless as i said very fast.. i highly doubt AMS dumb enough to fill tank rather than add 5 gallons..

ok i can see everyone getting their panties in a bunch.. Ill excuse myself from thread.. all i simply said is I wouldnt use the term FULL WEIGHT if it isnt.. Thats just me.. You guys call it whatever you want.. close enough, almost, just like full weight etc.. it ran what it ran..

No big deal eric.. if you look above everyone seems to know what it weighs.. was over 39, then just over 38 and then 3875 from you.. Either way its fast regardless and holds the record.. if it was mine it woulda been gutted and ran 8s and I could care less.. youll get it either way i am sure.. good luck..

Stock GTR's weight from the factory 3836 with 1/4 tank of gas , with a full tank you are looking at 3900 lbs.
so if they weighted the car @ 3875..lol its actually heavier then a stock GTR..
The carbon parts are more "asthetic" then weight saving IMO..
and as far as where they found 10mph.. its was upping the boost and making power

Very impressive but FAR FROM FULL WEIGHT.. it has fixed seats, lightweight carbon roof and hood, no wing, light wheels, etc.. Cant take anything away from them at all regardless but lets not use the term FULL WEIGHT.. 1 seat was even removed as you said.. So lets call it full interior minus 1 seat.. Ivan drove this time i believe and hes not 220lbs.. We know for sure SHEP isnt 220.. HAHA
Props regardless.. they found 10mph somewhere.. LOL

(targeted towards the person that said if anybody other than Shep was driving, that the car would have been a 10sec car)
Is Ivan another professional driver who knows how to hit a paddle just right?
(I don't know who Ivan is - but I'd bet that my grandmother could get the same ET)It seems almost everybody who drives GT-R's these days is a professional driver............... orrrrrrrrrrrr..... the GT-R is just that good of a car that anybody can drive it (personal preferences of PS3 controllers and car driving people aside).
I've got a question here...
