April Car and driver article

hope nobody takes offence to double posting. Just wanted your opinions on what it means to upgrade from GTR1.0 to GTR2.0 as per the 'kit' advertised in the 2012 GTR article-ie is it software and how will that manifest? guesses on price ball park? is it an easy thing likely to get done etc?? thx in advance cause I'm not too bright about these things and i know lots of you know this stuff...

Not currently offered in US.

It is only going to offered in Japan (as of now, this may change). Just speculation by magazines.

IF the 'upgrade kit' is offered in the US it will probably be expensive. Since most '09 GT-Rs are in the later stages of their warranty period, I would just buy a Cobb with a custom tune for far less money since the warranty issue wouldn't be that important.

If however warranty is important, I would just take the money for the upgrade kit, trade in the '09 etc. and get a 2012. That way you not only get the increased power but all the other upgrades as well.
