My local dealer wants to charge me $2100 for the 18,000 mile service. West Covina Nissan only wants to charge me $768 for the same service. I know I can buy the transmission fluid for $58/qt but does anyone know exactly how many quarts it takes? I read somewhere that it requires 7 quarts and how many quarts for the differencial fluid. Just debating whether to do it my self.

 

9 quarts for the trans.
3 quarts for the front/rear diff
6 quarts for the oil
oil filter with crush ring

I just had my service done. Bought all motul/willal fluids from Forged in Georgia for around $850 shipped and the dealer did the service for $350.

You can get the Nissan OEM fluids cheaper by about $100.
