what do I do?
what do I do?
Need some help. I have a 2008 scud and I love the car but then my friend pulled up in a GTR and took me for a ride.... All I can say is wow. So do I order a 2013 GTR or stay with the scuderia?
Did you just get done smoking crack? J/K
Did you drive it or just ride passenger?
There is a reason that so many trade in there Turbo S for a more connected feeling GT3 or 2.
I have not driven a scud but I have driven a few GTR's and Turbo S's. The GTR feels way more disconnected to the road then a Turbo S and the Turbo S feels more disconnected then many other 911 variants. The GTR is a great performing machine for the money and is very very fast, but as many have found that the 'going fast' gets boring a lot faster then the feeling of connection to the driving experience.
So look into that first because you have one of the most thrilling and raw driving cars that I have ever heard about.

The one thing that the GT series cars have going for them is their "road connectedness". But this is the same as the Lotus Elise (even more than a GT3). Does that make an Elise a better choice than the softer 997TTS? Of course not. Road-connectedness only goes so far. (By the way, the 7TTS feels no more connected to the road than a '12 GT-R).
To the OP: the GT-R is the best overall car that I have ever owned. Bone stock, it will outperform your Scud in every possible way. With basic modifications, it's an absolute animal. Take it from someone who's actually owned 3 GT-Rs: you'll love it.

eh... really? dont get me wrong the gtr is great all around it does everything well.... but cmon dude. very few cars compare to the connection ,feeling, the scud has, i was lucky enough to drive one even though it was on the highway with no real curvy roads... but all i could say is wow.

.
The TTS did feel extremely more connected to the road then the GTR(personal subjective feeling), and after experiencing it for myself, I saw that many others felt the same. One main reason for me was in the GTR the seating position felt very high and the front of the car seemed wider, higher, and overall too big.
For your purposes of putting 1000+hp on a car, the GTR is probably the best choice given the PDK in a TTS can not handle that at all. And it obviously is 80k cheaper.
Keep doing what you are doing with those numbers, I do not think I can get close to those in my 2.
