GT-R for 60k a good idea?
GT-R for 60k a good idea?
I want to pick up a GTR for 60k.
Are the ones in this price range any good?
I can do all the work myself so maintenance is not an issue as I have worked on many of my friends GTR's already.
Thanks in advance for any insight on my tentative purchase.

Ebay seems to be the most used for sale. There are always cars in the 60 K for sale.
If you can do the work, pay for the ecu to be fully downloaded and look for use. Lots of track days may not be the best choice. Look for service receipts for all service.
Best time of year to buy is Nov to feb. because it is winter ..
Be patient and don't rush, your deal is out there.

Several people near me have sold their '09-'10's around that price range, and those cars were well maintained. That is the going rate. I would have been happy with any of those cars.
If you can find one from a Nissan dealer that has the car cpo'd I'd make that my first choice. Plus having the ECU interrogated to ensure that Nissan will honor the drivetrain extended warranty if you get one is a big plus.
