How is the GTR Service
I'm nervous about the service for the 2014 Nissan GTR. I'm in love with the car but I'm nervous about how the service department will take car of my car. It scares me that my car could have some problems and then it could sit in some ****ty Nissan Dealership for weeks waiting. So can someone help me and exain the Service and Maintiance to me?
Honestly most of the Nissan Dealerships in North America are not equipped to service a GTR. I had to go down the street to see my service adviser at the BMW dealership to put nitro in my tires when the TPM warning pops up on my GTR.
So without any hesitation you are better off modifying it from the get go. Your warranty is going to void anyways from doing the Launch Control on the GTR.

The service at my Nissan dealer is outstanding.
Nissan has extremely strict rules wrapped around the GT-R. One of them is that only very few individuals can actually drive the car, including the GT-R technician and the service manager. Typically there are only 2 individuals at the entire dealership who can even touch the car.
When I get service, they treat me like a king. You are guaranteed a loaner Altima or Maxima, they are very thorough and polite with you and will walk you through exactly what is going to be done with the car, etc. I have owned many luxury cars (BMW, Audi, Lexus) and the service is absolutely on par with those brands. Totally unexpected from a Nissan dealership and lightyears beyond the crap service you'll get at a Chevy dealer with a Corvette.

Service at a GT-R certified dealership has specific requirements and standards that differ from all other Nissans.
As GT-R owner, gold maintenance package comes standard (loaner for just about everything - free nitrogen, etc...). I never wait in line for anyone, only your service rep and tech can drive/touch the car. It has been a great experience for me personally.
