2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 vs. 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition! - Head 2 Head
"On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman travels to for a head to head matchup with the brand new Chevy Camaro Z/28 and a well known heavyweight, the Nissan GT-R. But not just any GT-R, the 2014 Track Edition which packs a 545 hp twin-turbo V-6, a 6-speed dual clutch transmission, sticky Dunlop tires and AWD traction into a car without rear seats. The Z/28, by way of contrast, features a massive 7.0-liter naturally-aspirated V-8, a 6-speed manual transmission, and tail-out RWD."

I call BS on Randy......... for sandbagging.........
I think this new camero is great. It has demonstrated it can really run on the track.
The best this car could run the ring was 7:37 while the new Nissan Nismo ran 7:08.
So did Randy sandbag ................ He was paid by Chevy ?????????????
I want to see the new Vette Z=06 with 650 HP at the ring......... It may really be able to run sub 7:10 lap and that would be great.
Still, not selling my 650 HP GTR any day soon .

If you look at the 2014 car and driver shootout, the GTR Nismo spec and the Z/28 are pretty damn close on the track - the GTR may have edged it by a few tenths.

This was TE, right? Unfortunately, the 2014 is a little slower than previous years, because of softer suspension, etc... - not to take away from the Camaro. That car is pretty awesome. But Nissan softened the GT-R in recent years to allow the platform to become more comfortable for the daily drive.
