hey steve... aye it was more the sound that got me worried. I was pretty close to the center but in the past I've been in ones that start out slow and build up and then settle down (swaying etc..) so I was used to that. With a "start" like that I started to think it'd be worse...

PS Nothing done at the shop (for the guys with cars here). Just a few things fell over but no harm done

Well, I lived in Santa Cruz for the 1989 quake when the building I was in cracked in half and the road separated by 3' outside the window (complete with a car running into it just like a movie!).... so this one was not that big a deal. Now the fact that I felt it in Tracy.... that was something!
