Ipod integration system or coilovers?

I would like to install both eventually, but only have the funds right now to install the Denison iPod integration system, which will cost me about $850 total. Also, I'm driving up to Bay Area and found an installer up there that would do it much cheaper and better qualified than anyone I can find in Las Vegas. So since I don't plan on driving the car up to the Bay Area again anytime soon, I was leaning towards getting the systme installed while I'm up there.

BUT I prefer to spend the money on coilovers before on the Denison given that the coilovers will improve the driving experience. I'm leaning towards the PSS10 or JIC Cross coilovers with both costing about mid-$2000 range plus installation. The best price for installation in Vegas is $1000, which seems a little high to me. When I do get the coilovers, I might drive to SoCal to get them installed since I have family there to visit and many more options in terms of installers.

So my question is do I get the Denison installed now given that I have the funds and found an installer in the Bay Area with good rates and experience or do I save the funds and wait to get the coilovers when I have enough saved?

Wish I had all the funds now so I can get both installed in the Bay Area.

Thanks in advance for all your opinions.

Just buy the Dension, install yourself (there are a few DIY articles on this website and on Caymanclub.net). It's very simple.

Get the coilovers next and try to buy them from someone parting out here on the site (check the for sale section). If you're in the bay area, Sharkwerks does a phenomenal job. From what I hear, the other sponsors on this site are great as well.

I have the Dension GW500, Tooki bluetooth, PSS Damptronics, and H&R sways on my car. Definitely all musts on the car for what I use it for. I agree with your list of things to do on your car, but I'd go the extra step and add the sways and get a kickass alignment and suspension tuning. Definitely makes a difference.

Have fun with your mods.

I did purchase the Denison unit from Eric at Bumperplugs.com and going to try to install it myself with the help of my brother in-lawe, whos is an electrical engineer and works as hardware engineer. Hopefully, he can helpt me figure it out.

I plan on getting the PSS10 and H&R rear sway bar next. Some has suggested to get alignment to GT3 specs.
