I did watch F1 the night before too, couldn't finish it and watched the last 24 laps from Tivo.
Those cars are amazing, the sound at 18,000 rpm is out of this world. When they down shift several gears in a row, no sound can compare with that. If they put a F1 gear box on a Porsche, I'll be the first one there. But then, Porsche doesn't have the same rpm to get the same effects.
