Recommendations for service?!
Hi folks,
I live in Mountain View, and my 2003 996tt is due for service. Any recommendations for independent shop?
Obviously, the unavoidable question of great quality, friendly service, and non-dealer price?
Thanks in advance.

Hey I'm in MV as well!
Giving Alden Flint at Flintworks a big shout out. I took a fixer upper 2000 Boxster to him and he did all the repairs at a VERY reasonable price, including the IMS bearing upgrade. I even asked him to leave a few things for me to do as well. Brakes and rotors, serpentine belt, etc are going in next weekend, assuming it doesn't rain or get cold again!

Go to Rennshop in Santa Clara. On my way home tonight from work, my shifter ball joint broke and left me stranded on the shoulder of Hwy 101. Had my car towed to Rennshop at almost 6pm on a Friday night. Marvin got working on my car immediately while I waited and had me back on the road before 8pm. He even personally hand washed my car before giving me back the keys. Great shop. Fantastic service.
