New owner......06 Cayenne Turbo S

Looking for a reputable shop to replace plastic lines with aluminum. Any recommendations? I'm in Elk Grove but will travel for compentent reasonably priced service.

 

anybody know or hear anything about schatz and Krum or IPB autosport, both in sacramento

 

You couldn't go wrong with IPB. I just bought a car with a motor they built and it is very strong so I'd trust them with the coolant pipes.

 

I heard good things about IPB, but I'm gonna give a new shop a shot.......midtown autoworks. The owners name is Niko and if anyone is interested and wants to know whether I am satisfied hit me up after the vehicle is serviced next week.

 

Ron at IPB knows his stuff and does all the work on my car!

 

FYI ........... very pleased with service I received from Niko at Midtownautoworks in Sacramento. They did the 80k service on my Cayenne Turbo S and replaced coolant tubes. Before doing anything Niko put the car up on the rack to look things over. Better yet, he let me get in there and nose around. Niko went out of his way to gather info for me in response to my questions Re motor oil (ended up doing with Redline 5/40) and some other stuff. During the course of repair a few additional items were spotted and repaired (after I approved). Prices were reasonable, for example battery was $200. And Niko did some other things which were above and beyond... for example the windshield wipers need replacement but since the rainy season is about done here I opted to wait. Niko flipped the left to right, and right to left, so for the time being the better wiper is on the drivers side. Well thought out imo. All in all, reasonable prices and excellent service. Also, Niko saved all parts for me and took pictures of leaky coolant tubes.

 

Don't take a Porsche to krums. They are great with bmws but don't have enough history with Porsches.
