Had another great day at the track on 4th. Besides perfect conditions for the middle of Summer (temp in the mid 70's, light cool breeze), here's another reason why I love this track -- this is where you can be in just 15 minutes from your track day....

 

If it wasen't for the sound police, a lot of us would still be eager to go there. Only a Prius can pass sound at WOT these days.

I know what you mean. The sound limits at Laguna have basically kept me from doing many mods to my car (especially the exhaust). Hey -- I just realized that it has saved me money .

I don't know the full history here, but I suspect it's just like the same story all over the place. The facility was there first (e.g. airport), people then move in around it knowing full well what they're buying into, and now the noise complaints are restricting its use. Rinse and repeat.....
