Hello guys! My name is Johncy and am currently in the market for an Aston Martin DB9. Just wanted to introduce myself to the community. There is a 2005 DB9 Coupe for sale 20 min away from where I live and it has 17,000 miles and is a two owner car. What should I ask the saleperson about service on the car. What are common issues with the early model DB9? Are there and service updates that need to be performed if they havnt been done already? Thank you for your time guys! Great to be part of the biggest community on the Internet. -Johncy

Welcome aboard! You might want to check with DonL. He's local and owns a very nice Aston. Good Luck!

Welcome to 6speed! If you can spare the time, motor on over to Danville on Sunday the 16th. There is usually a good display of interesting Astons and we'd be happy to share experiences with you - both good and bad.
There is usually at least one DB9 on display, not to mention all the other fine cars. See the Danville Concours link...
I'm the "old guy" with the Chiltern Green Vantage Stop by and introduce yourself!

Thanks guys for the replies. Glad to be here. The 16th sounds good. If I am not working that day, I will definately head over but Danville is a drive from over here in Atherton. Well see though. Glad to see other Aston Martin owners on here because astonmartinlife.com isn't really popular.
