Hi All

Bought a valentine V1 last week and been using it for a few days. I'm in the east bay and do most of my driving in and around Berkeley, Fremont, Palo Alto and SF. Noticed there are a ton of false K band alerts, I'm guessing these are from all the traffic monitoring devices on the freeways here

The new V1 has a Traffic Monitoring Filter option to weed out these false alarms, I think it basically turns off K POP detection. Anyone have any experience with this setting and recommendations?

Also planning to turn off X Band, understand that's not used in Cali at all, yes?

i have gotten tagged twice by CHP pointing a speed gun aimed at me. however, nothing went off. i have x band turned off so i wonder if that's what they are still using. most likely, they are using laser as they were stationary in both occasions.
