Hello fellow enthusiasts,
I just finished replacing my driver's side window regulator on my 996 Turbo. During the process, I had to disconnect the SRS door airbag. After installing the replacement regulator and adjusting the window, I put everything back together, and fired up the car to do a test drive and check to make sure there was no wind noise from the window adjustment. This was when I noticed the Airbag light in the dash.
Reading up on the forums, it looks like either the dealer can reset the Airbag light, or someone with a Durametric. I can give the local dealer (Stevens Creek Porsche) a call in the morning, but wanted to put it out there to see if any local enthusiasts might have a Durametric that can reset it for me. It would be great to meet other Porschephiles around.

A friend owns a shop that works on Porsches but doesn't specifically have a Durametric. He has something called a Euro Scanner. Would that work to reset the airbag light?

too late.. but future reference, i have cables for durametric pro (porsches) and vagcom (Audi/VW) if anyone needs help. I'm in south bay.
