Lesson #1 stay away from carnuts..I personally have not done any business with them but EVERY single story I know of has always ended bad.
First step;
What do you want out of the new springs is it the look of the car lowered or for track/auto x ?
if it is looks you can just do the lowering springs.
if it is for track/auto x then what you are looking for is a coilover suspension set up. this set up is more adjustable and more money but worth it. I have had the lowering springs on my car for a few years and wish I would have done the coilovers the first time. The main reason is you can adjust the ride hight to what you want. If in the summer you want to go lower you can, vs. the winter where you will want the car higher with all the roads that need fixed.
If you need a guy local, A few of us use a guy local that has worked on many Porsche cup car teams. PM me for number.

You paid $890 for springs and install? That sounds like a rip off. You do know that getting springs is going to prematurely wear your shocks right? The H&R springs are the worst for this. If I were you I would spend the extra money to get Bilstein PSS coil-overs (esp if you have PASM). Just my thoughts because in the end when your shocks wear out at 20k miles, you will have to get them taken out, get new shocks or coil-overs, etc and you will end up spending just as much if not more than just getting coilovers in the first place. Basically, do it the right way the first time. Oh and btw, welcome to 6-speed; you will meet a lot of really nice Seattle members on the drives and gtgs.
thanks for the infor. i end it up i candle the apointmant hee..so i will see you guys on sunday thanks i need a lots help this is my first porsche so....thanks again!!
you're better off buying coilovers, and doing the install yourself. It's simple. Plus that way you don't need to worry about spring compressors and it's easier to return the car to stock.
