Seattle 6spdrs! Great weather for Nov 3rd-4th! One last drive?
lol... Vincent - I said *high* 1:30s. If I turn a 1:30 you should buy me a race car!
So far in the S2k I've managed a few 1:42s so I'm hoping the C2S will get me 1:39 or 1:38.
Honestly - that last drive we did was the most fun I've had with the Porsche yet - and the only time I was glad to be @ the stock ride height.
My wife was kind of bored until our little bit of extra fun down the mountain. That was a blast. Thanks for taking the lead - you were motoring!
Hey Jody - never mind the come out and watch - you and Todd have to take an HPDE course and then run with your friends.
Part of the fun of yesterday was that it was supposed to be Advanced group only. Everyone had some kind of experience @ the track. I've only been ~ 4 or 5 PR days so I have a *lot* to learn. It's fun seeing so many different cars find ways to go fast.
Your auto-x experience will give you a real leg up on the track - IMO it's a faster way to learn car control since you're continually on the edge during auto-x.
Jay - there was a Civic hatch with an ITR engine swap that was very cool and quick too.

Next time on the twisties, you lead I'll followed.

The alignment on my GT3 is so oversteered on our last outing that I had a hard time kicking the back out. I hope to fix that soon. Let me know if we can set up a 6spd autoX sometimes soon.
Anyhow, anything under 1:40 is F430 territory. I timed that modded red Noble M400 and he consistently clocked 1:39.

Two of my buds are nuts - RT in the the grey Elise was running 1:39s all day bone stock except for RA1s. One of my pals runs 1:36s in his Evo and his Miata (the Miata is turboed) If you ever use FTL Performance for wheel/tire balancing etc... Marek is 1/2 owner. Perfect for race wheel/tire mounting. Mounting and balancing for $50 bucks a set!

For some reason I was slower this time than my last day - mostly mid 1:40s - I think I was tired and my Victoracers are about 3 years old (busting out the racing excuse generator

)Oversteer in the GT3? Yikes. That would be scary! I don't mind oversteer for auto-x but not on the track.
I have an idea for auto-x. It's logistically messy to rent a venue and the timing gear and get insurance and all that - but WWSCC allows certain groups to have their own class to themselves so we can all enter and just have a 6speed group.
Sometimes car clubs will do that like the Corvette club etc...
That would work pretty well IMO and it would be pretty easy to do.

If it setup similar to this one we can learn a lot.
