We had a nice meet and drive today. First we met for some breakfast and coffee at Starbucks where Kuzi and Vince both showed up in their SUVs much to Ben's dismay. Not one to disappoint, Ben led us on a short drive on Sand Point Drive over to the waterfront park and back. All the way, he tickled our soul with a beautiful cacophony of Italian sourced hymns courtesy of his beautiful 360CS. Afterwards, we parted ways and the Turbo boys went on a drive through the Snoqualmie Valley area all the way up to Sultan where we had lunch afterwards before heading back. A good drive but my car is now SUPER dirty. I need to give her a thorough wash.

 

Of course, you had to get my bad side...

I'm starting a new trend. Yeah, that's it.

 

Fixed.

 

I'll ask the wife if she feels up to it. it'd be nice to meet a few of you.

My chances to getting a yes are likely limited at best.

 

Hey great ride! I have never had any car of mine get so dirty. It looked like I went off-roading.

I pulled my wheels to clean them after washing the car and there must have been a 1/2" of dirt and sand caked up in the wheel wells. This was even after power washing the wells!.

Even the brake calipers had dirt caked on them. I also have some nice new chips so the my '08 is no longer a virgin...

I also checked each of the tire treads and pulled out no less than a dozen 1/4" triangular metal pieces. (almost like rough saw teeth) All were fortunately in the meaty part of the tread but we defnitely ran through some bad stuff.

The car is all clean again. Now off for a great steak! Hope to see you guys again soon. Lets shoot for dryer roads next time! All the best - Brad

Trevor, I'm in love with the lotus! You've done a really good job with yours. It looks really sharp! After seeing yours, it made me want one even more! It was a pleasure to finally meet you after all this time on 6speed! You'll love the rest of the gang. They are great group! Keep watching the forums. You'll see more and more gatherings posted as the weather gets better. With any luck, we'll have a cars/coffee on a regular basis!
