By the way Jason,

I told the person who took these photo's to pick your brain if he ever gets a chance. He just upgraded his D40 to a D300 and is loving it.

Lookin good. Sure took a while for it to get to this point. Everything looks perfect...just needs some Hoen xenon match fog bulbs or HID fogs to complete!

+1 on HID fogs. Avoid getting bulbs from Hoen. They're a shady bunch that pretty much will screw you over if anything goes wrong like they did to me. Be sure to get the HID kit that has circuitry that prevents the "check foglight" message from popping up in your dashboard.

Hmm I have been running Hoen fog bulbs on both my e46 M3 (and now the 997) since early 2005 and have not had any problems with them. Jason, is it possible to put in HID fogs in the 997?

When I put in the W5W city lightbulbs from Hoen, it did this:

Hoen basically said that I installed it incorrectly and that it's my fault. Yeah right, how many different ways are there to put in a lightbulb? Cost me $400 per side to get it replaced. Hoen basically that I was on my own. I took everything out from them as a result because I really did not want to risk having anything else burned/melted like that. Their bulbs burn about 15 degrees hotter than stock. You'd have to make sure that the housings can take the extra heat.

WOW! that car is hot
