All-State was $10K ... for 6 months.
State Farm was $12k/yr
Chubb was $10.5k/yr ... but with $5k deductible on Ferrari.
MetLife was $9k/yr (including nice $1k discount for AAA membership).

Any guesses who I went with
CHUBB
(because the have the best name)

Yes the customer service is great but when i took in my porsche to the shop one of the progressives qoute person came by the shop and quoted the damage for 1500 but the shop was charging 4500 and now progressive wants me to take it to there own shop which i dont trust this is why i want to switch to a different insurance company.

I love progressive, however that would be annoying. My homes go through AllState..., always liked them. But for cars, progressive has a great price point. Only if they did homes as well and umbrella policies.. I'd switch it all to them.

Farmers, my family has been with them for about 15 years The greatest company handsdown in my opinion.

PS Progressive Can't make you take your vehicle to one of there shops. That is a no no. But i'm sure there are just recommending this right? Even so You need three estemates and you get the average of the three. done deal. then call me and i'll get it done way cheaper for you.

Someone was telling me of their claim experience with All-State.

He had a bit of a whoopsie at 30mph in his 360 Modena when the ****-end stepped out, seemingly for no reason. $50k repair quote.

All-State, upon making a claim, said "we dropped your comprehensive coverage 2 years ago on that vehicle".

He said, "You did ?" and they said "yup".

Too bad for you -- you should've noticed that we did that. Sorry.

He'd been with them for 20+ years I think he said.

I was stunned.

nice .....

AMEX/Ameriprise for the newer stuff and Hagerty for the old stuff. It's less than $3k/yr for a total of seven vehicles and two drivers but I've never had a claim (knock on someones wood) so I can't tell you how the service is. Good Luck w/ your search!

Farmers, I deal with Jim Davidson
office 425 460 4000
cell 425 417 0503
emailjimdavidsonagency@msn.com

He does my commercial, commercial umbrella, Personal and Personal Umbrella. I have him looking into track day INS. He's doing some deep digging to see what the most reasonable Track Day INS policies there are.

I pay about 6g for the commercial set a year, and about 1600 for the personal set. After shopping around that is better than most but not the cheapest. What sold me was his willingness to walk me through the policies point by point. I spent several hours with him just to get the policies the way I wanted them.
Personal car 250/500 1000 deduct, Personal umbrella 1 mill. Home is replacement value for it and contents. Commercial is 1mill liability on truck and trailer, with 1 mill umbrella.

If you Do give Jim a call, please let him know Aaron from 3lg sent you.
