What?
Glad Mr. T is OK. Do I see a new Aero kit in the future?

I am glad no one... well... I am glad Todd was not hurt.

Steve is probably more able to tell you about "diminshed value" and how to pursue it if in fact it is repairable...

hang in there... you should get an equal value rental, but in my experience no matter how hard you kick and scream... you will in all reality end up getting a 1 year old impala/malibu which is the upgrade from the focus...

cited for failure to yield -- is that what you get for running a red light?

Jody & Todd I am so sorry - wow, that just sucks - I would be sick. Good luck and let us know how everything works out. What intersection did it happen at?

It's things like this that make me very selective of the days and where I'll drive my car. Just the other day in Bellevue at 112th and 8th I was stopped for the light. When it turned green 5 (FIVE) cars ran the red light! This was in broad daylight at 11am. It seems everyone in Bellevue thinks they're more important than anyone else. For these ****** I'd love to have 1949 Buick Roadmaster (heaviest car General Motors ever made) to just smash them into junk.

I feel pain and anger for Bruce and Todd. Mitchel?... I'm sure if he catches up with the guy that nerfed him into the ditch, he'll stop at nothing short of castration and/or disembowelment.

What? No one forced me into a ditch, I had to go off the side of Jasons road just to make room for this oversized SUV with ONE person in it and I scraped my X-Brace (chassis brace that protects my oil pan). It did exactly what it's designed to do =)

just an update....

we just received a call from the man's insurance (that hit todd) and they have accepted full 100% responsibility. no 80/20....70/30...but 100%. thank goodness. i'm thankful the man is being honest and easy to work with. the world needs more honest and stand up people like him. he did the right thing and we appreciate it very much.

todd will be getting his rental car today. hopefully a nice, YELLOW F430. hhehe! okay, wishful thinking!

queencity will be working on his car. i'll keep you all posted on the progress as it comes along. =)

thanks again for everyone's kind words and support!

we'll see now if the estimates go smoothly and they don't jerk us around. =I

Jody,
That is great news! See if you can have Jason work on your car at Queencity. He is good. Mark at Eurotech Bodywerkes is also a good choice.

If he was cited, then he is always going to be 100% at fault. But it's good that you don't have to argue about it.

As Ben said, my car hasn't been the same after the accident. The body looks ok (not great) but the part that is hard to fix is all the little rattles that keep coming up. Those are not noticed at first, and it is a pain to keep taking the car back and getting it fixed. At this point I'm just dealing with my car's rattles and will drive my dad's r8 as much as possible!
