I know I was just throwing it out there simply because that ibis white one is gorgeous. If you look around you can find an R8 if you happen to be at the right place at the right time. In Jan I received a call on a silver R8 that was available for purchase as I had put my name down on a wait list, but of course I do not have the funds for a R8 at the moment. But the RS is one sweet ride...can't go wrong esp in green!

 

Now that is a chance I would love to take.

just out of curiosity, why would you put your name down on a list and have the dealership take the time to call you, etc....if you didn't/don't have the funds? i guess if it were me, i wouldn't waste their time unless i knew that i was for sure going to buy it.

I was told the white r8 at barrier is jimmy's car. From what I was told when we picked up ours, that he wanted a white r8, and his was coming next, so I'm assuming jimmy is not selling it right now.

 

Hi Jody......my choices would be either orange or white. A nicely optioned example would be preferable.

Bruce, nice to meet you as well. Romeo purchased the Giallo CS from me. I had many offers from out of state including from dealers........but its nice to see it will be here in town...........and very well driven. He and I have very similar taste it cars.

 

It was a different dealer that somehow contacted me. My name is down at Barrier and the wait they said is like 2 yrs. I am unsure of how they got my info as I never had contacted that particular audi dealer, but they said they had a R8 available for immediate delivery. I am thinking more along the line of 2 yrs and not now, so that is why I passed.

Is there a wait on ordering/getting a RS as well? Why not just order one? Not up to date on RS availability, so sorry if it is a dumb question.

I've got the Other white one in town. Barrier's owner has one. If you'd like to trade the CGT for a weekend you can test mine out when the weather clears.

btw Kuzi what's up with Romeo. Last year he had his 550 only and know he's gone crazy a 550 Barchetta and your CS. Is he really thinking of an RS as well? Let him know you can't hide money from the government in garage hardware.
