You seem awfully enthusiastic about it. No, the K1200S is staying put. Haven't decided on the Duc yet.

Just read Motorcyclist Mag last night -- the 1098R is absolutely amazing. They said the gap between moto gp and what you can buy has never been closer

slipper clutch, 8 levels of traction control (on the R)... it is truly amazing.

the K1200s is no slouch either

I got my first motorcycle when I was 5 and as of last summer, this is the first time I have not owned at least one motorcycle... I am going to use the tearing down of the Alaska Way Viaduct to purchase another .

I would love to...
I like the BMW bikes -- particularly the GSA and the K1200s -- one of each please!
The Ducatis are very nice as well but I am more interested in long trips than I am in tracking them... so something that is comofrtable over long distances and still fun in town is a plus... like a K1200S

I mostly ownerd dirt bikes, raced motorcross for a couple years, then some street bikes and I sold my Harley (with 35000 long trip miles on it) last summer.

So now with a wife and kid, my time for solo hobbies (going to the track and motorcycles etc) is relatively limited... you could say I am even pushing it right now, and I do not even have a motorcycle!

So, for now I have my long term sights set on a race car... but I will be back on a bike in the future for sure.

forgot to mention... I would be happy to borrow a bike... say a K1200S... if a certain someone got ANOTHER bike and wanted some company...

still carry mc endorsement just in case...
