June 28th, Annual Leavenworth Drive

These guys are an insane bunch. Well...maybe it's because I was the one that drove fast.
I went with these guys a couple years ago and it was a blast but watch out for cops. With this many cars, you're bound to run into a fair share of cops.

how longs the drive? what does everyone usually do after reaching the destination?.. just curious cause it sounds like a lot of fun to cruise with a bunch of cars..
debating on bringing the girlfriend along but i need to fill her in on details other than sitting in there car for a long period of time without anything to do after getting there.
what can i tell her to convince her to go with me?!

It's not hard to beat the crowd, either take the alternate route around Sultan or just don't stop at the pass with everyone else
Once in town, there is plenty of activites to keep girlfriends/wives/significant others busy who aren't into cars. Lots of shops, places to eat, etc that you'd expect to find in a tourist destination Should keep them busy for a while

You should have seen Matty and I taking the sultan shortcuts around all of the fair traffic, We made it up to Stevens Pass WAY before everyone. Good Times...we didn't even speed that much.
I love seeing the look on the VW guys faces when the hostess says "We're at capacity, it will at least be an hour before we can seat you"...while I'm drinking a hef and slowly eating a burger. Some say that this is the oldest rivalry in the history of the world, I tend to agree.

Here are my pics from 2006 and 2007. In 06, I still had my M3. 07 was the GLI.

OK. I might not make it now. I picked up a position with a wedding photographer in Seattle and he has a wedding to shoot on the 28th. He might need me for that. I've been trying to get in with a good studio so I can bump my skills up before going out on my own, so I might have to skip this to work.....
