I wish I had my plates already. Roy told me it'll probably be another week or two since the forms were mailed in. Pretty sure my top pick won't be taken by then but my bigger annoyance is how much the paper one flops around in the rear window with the windows down

 

Did you check with the DMV to see if your choices were available before actually sending in the form?

I sent my form in almost a month ago. I finally got the registration paperwork with the tabs confirming that I did get my choice but to date I still haven't gotten the plate itself. I'm hoping to get it soon.

 

See, thats the painful part - I can't send the form in until I have my normal non-personalized plates.

I do know the plate I want is not currently taken. I'm pretty sure it'll still be available when my normal plates come in though. Its not one that many people would go for (I think).

Looks like my plate went through. Got my new tags for it and new registration from DOL. They say 4-6 weeks for the plates to arrive.

Anyways, the plate I went with it "SUHTL".

 

I wanted "NON11" but it's invalid. Apparently the 3 letter, 2 number combination is used for something else. Hyphenating it is still invalid.

Oh well, I just got LEM plates anyway. Two, even...
