Had a customer come in a few days ago and he said he was unhappy with the mileage he got with the 20k car that wasn't close to some of the 14k cars.

i agree. you can buy a civic that probably gets better mpg. at best i've only ever gotten 38mpg. i do like the car for what it is and think its got enough unique features going for it to compensate.

Dam, my Mini is getting 34mpg combined & on the FW only I'm over 40mpg! We just did a trip down to Orogen & the 200mi home drive was under 1/4 a tank!

speaking of oregon, we flew out to portland last weekend for a family reunion. we took a side trip to the tillamook national forest for some 4x4 fun and had a great time. putting on a sweatshirt at night is not something we will be able to do here in jacksonville beach until late october.

I must press harder on my mini. I only average about 31 maybe. But I only have 1200 or so miles on it so far

It will get better as you drive it, we have just over 6kmi on ours. The first 2500mi were not the best MPG. It's also harder to drive smooth with the STUPID clutch valve that slows down the clutch engagement. When we first started to drive it, my GF would be on the FW in 3rd doing 4500rpm's it was just to quiet & smooth.

Around 10kmi we will start to upgrade it a bit for more punch & sound.

Love the panel switching on the black smart, that actually looks pretty cool. Pretty different cars. I'm curious as to what kind of mileage they get on LONG trips? I hear they are roomier for the driver and passenger than they look...

I traded in my red Smart to a white Smart yesterday ! BRABUS front spoiler, S-MANN side skirts, rear spoiler and black wheels are on the way ! Here are some pictures !
