Jody, you should see if you can get some pink ***** (lol). The kind that go in the gun (hopper). That way we will always know who got taken out by "Hello Kitty."
Be sure to give a little "TARGET DOWN!!" everytime you get one of us.

Ranger school twice. Typical story, got cellulitus in the mountains, made it to the swamps, got in trouble, SOR drop. Went back a year later, recycled Benning, then straight through. I managed to only use about 3 hours of sick call that second time.
As for duty assignments, no Regiment time. Started as an enlisted guy in the mid 90's as a sapper, then off to West Point, managed to get through that place and pinned the crossed rifles in 2001. Airborne, pathfinder, Air Assault, Combatives Instructor, Ranger School (see above drama). Combat with "No Slack" 2-327 Infantry as a rifle PL during the very first part of OIF I. Then Support PL, then home. A book chronicles some of what I did. "The War on Two Fronts" by Chris Hughes.
I gave my wife a squeeze on the way to more schools, then gave her a squeeze on my way to Korea. Commanded Bco 2/9 Infantry in Korea. 135 US soldiers and 15 Koreans. I HATED MECH Infantry!! I left the Army in 2007 to spend more time with my wife and go to business school.
School keeps my brain going. The track and teaching self-defense keeps my adrenaline going. I volunteer and teach leadership to a youth organization which keeps the selfless service aspect going for me.
I got injured in Iraq. I wanted to take an A-team but my injuries (lungs) were limiting. No regrets leaving the Army.
now you guys know about as much as my family!
Anyways, if anyone finds this stuff interesting, I'm always happy to chat about it, if asked. I have a funny one about being in Don Kitch's school. Brian (Senna) might remember it actually. He was in the same class.
