Introducing Rambo.. my new puppy
I thought Boxers were full of energy. I want a large dog, I grew up with big dogs. But Amy wants small or nothing. Since I have always had dogs, nothing isn't much of an option so she wins. shhh...dont' tell her or Colin but I think a Puggle is coming home for X-Mas.
Let me tell yah, Rambo is now living up to his name. Bundle of energy.. actually that doesn't even describe it. He is so funny man, its insane. I think the first few days he was just trying to figure out who the hell I was and the environment. NOW.. caukey as hell.. as if he runs the place. I'll post some better pics later..
Its so fun having a puppy.. but the responsibility is insane. I feel like I can't leave him at home by himself yet. Not just cause I feel bad for him, but my furniture will crumble!

Here's a pic of my boy Wesley. He's 8 now but still has the energy of a puppy. I'm on the list for a yellow lab female from a litter due this week. Hopefully that'll work out and Wesley can have a playmate.

Also, as to leaving a pup at home alone : I have a 6'x6' square 'temporary dog run' using some chain link fence sections from Home Depot and a concrete pad that I was going to put a hot tub on. During the day the pup will have her dogloo inside the run and some cedar chips for potty breaks. I'll also keep some chips in a corner of the yard and use that to get her used to going on those. That should help with the house training as well. I did this with Wesley and it went great.

bojan,
he's sooo cute!!!!! i love the picture of him with his butt up in the air! you're going to have so many good years with him!
todd had a boxster that passed away 4 years ago at age 14. he would follow todd around EVERYWHERE. he had lots of energy and todd said he didn't really mellow out until he was about 2 years old. lol!
congrats again! i hope to see him sometime!

on a side note......
if you guys (nw 6speeders) go out of town at some point, let me know. if i'm available on weekend days, i'd be happy to come over and feed your pets. i love animals and it's always nice to have someone you can trust with your pets.
right now we have 2 doggies, a fish, an african gray parrot, a bunny and a guinea piggy. =) i also used to be a vet tech and a horse trainer. lol!
i don't charge much, i just ask that you leave the keys to your exotics on the counter. heh!

he looks like a trouble maker already. I dunno about them slowing down any. Thats what people said about Wesley - "he'll mellow out when he hits 4 or 5". He has yet to mellow out. Every night he comes bouncing over and does that same challenge pose with his butt up and his paws out. Any little lunge at him and he'll start running around me in circles. At least its cute

Here is a pic of one of the three boys. We don't know if he will be ours or one of the other two but I had to share. I told Amy and Colin about it so we can watch the web cam of them growing up. We are very excited. In a few months we will have a buddy for Rambo to play with!

I will start my own thread once we have him home and named. Any good name ideas are welcome. I am leaning toward Apex.
awe doggie pics... here are my 2
Shadow (brown)
Kato (black)
they are about 1 1/2 years old now and aside from tearing up the yard, they are good dogs!
