That's not that bad, much cheaper then a full repaint. I had no idea that Ben's car was a wrap, I swore it was paint, it's really done well. Have you brought our your car, it was @ the Tacoma car show?

FWIW, I think the RSR is a different shade then Fred's CGT. I remember the car being a little darker. I will most likely see it this March...

Are you asking if my wrapped 430 was at that Cheney car show? Yes it was.

You've seen Ben's wrapped FGT? Not many people have. It looks good Boris took a lot of time to do it. He said it was the hardest car to wrap he's ever done.

The mat black or mat white they put on really has a tendancy to allow smears or scraps. Not on the car paint but in the actual wrap material itself. I kicked around doing mat white wrap on my 430 and opted out because of this.

Yes, I just wasn't sure it was that car, I had no idea it was wrapped, they did a great job!

Yes, seen the FGT, didn't know he kept it under wraps?

Next time I do see any of them, I'm going to check them over really well, this seams like a cool idea!

"wraps" was a lame attempt at a joke. Get it?

That's what I thought, but I remember your car @ Cheney, besides it being a little dirty, I would not have guessed. But I was also not looking either.

I should also state, that I'm sick & on some good stuff, so don't take anything seriously from me today.....

NWAS offers the wraps courtesy of Skinz right now. In the near future, we will be providing the service completely in house once we have completed the necessary training. If anyone is interested in a wrap, feel free to call us.

Not many people have seen my FGT? It was all over the internet and is pretty widely known by now. Logged on to Car Domain lately?

In regards to driving the FGT, when you drive a car on the Gumball (or Players Run) the way I do, there's really very little reward left when driving on public roads except for fielding a bunch of questions. However, I did take it out last week to run some errands and take advantage of the weather.

That being said, I will also be taking the car down to PIR this weekend for some lapping. So, do I not drive it that much or am I just picky about when I drive it?

Granted the FGT is completely street legal I would have to say it's gonna hold solid ground next to most other race/track cars, especially silversurfer's! http://blog.cardomain.com/blog/2008/...west-auto.html

So I guess 2009 is the year Silversurfer races?

Nope, never been a competitive guy. No real strong desire to get into motorsports at all.

This is precisely how I would like to see ALL of the Porsche GT3's look

Probably a lot slower with the extra width and without significant extra tuning, but really, really mean.

Please, if you don't know what you're talking about, don't post to make yourself look stupid. This car does 1:25's around Road Atlanta and is a factory RSR.
