That new SLR is pure ugliness. Like mark says, 3 F-Car's > that car. Or An F-Car, R8, Aston Martin... so many choices!

 

Nope, I'm not interested. I would rather buy 3-4 other cars instead, for the same money.

But- I would like to see one in person, before passing final judgment on it.

 

I am not a fan of any of the SLR variants... the regular one sold like crap, so they slapped a little more HP on it and put some 722 badges on it... big deal... still had some left so they started a race series (http://www.worldcarfans.com/9080215....details-emerge)... now this god awful thing...

Now really... it is not bound for the USA (thank god)... but this is merely a windowless toy for a very rich person... think of it as a motorcycle or the like...

I could think of a million other ways to spend the money.
