I'll be there in the morning. I look forward to seeing everyone. I'm actually bringing a classmate who is interested in seeing all of the cars.

I'll probably not head over to Belle Pastry and head straight to RTC.

Best,

Trevor

I'd shoot for arriving before 8:30 if you want to be in the center parking area of primary display lot. Again, we're not going to be that fussy about parking yet until we get a better sense of turnout. We may turn both lots into primary lots, and one the feature lot, we don't know. We're still learning. We did figure out an arrival route for photos and we'll post maps for the gathering after this one. Vic and I are heading straight to RTC. Security from RTC will now be there to help us too. Looks like it will be a great turnout.

Sounds like we better leave the P&R at 405/112th by 8:15. Does that sound ok?

The R1 was produced only in '93 (ultra firm suspension...the car pulled a 1.01G on 225/VR16 rubber in stock format). The '94 & '95 FD3S sport versions were R2s (slightly softer shocks vs the R1).

Just to make a quick note:
I love RX7's, still have a 2nd gen, and would like to "build" a 3rd gen with a turbo 20B motor.

I hope to see you all there at RTC--this should be fun!!

I won't be making it in the morning. You all have fun and I'll catch up another weekend.

I was an original owner of a 2nd gen Rx7 Sport for 21 years. It was a sad day to let it go. At least it is owned now by a professional mechanic/technician.

Is the RTC event a weekly recurrence?

thx

It depends on the weather. If we think it's going to be bad, we'll call it off. It's otherwise every Saturday. We will put up a site where we post the plan for each Saturday. For now the blogs are the place to check. We're still sorting out the cutoff for "exotics" and we're building experience to see how it goes. Our hope is that people figure it out on their own so the rare more exotic cars get the primary lot.

Thanks for the information, Tommy. BTW, I don't think that my CR is that rare. It's not really a road car away.
