I couldn't get any details on the event from the cited thread, but I was wondering if this didn't conflict with Bimmerfest in Santa Barbara.

Mfest is April 10-12th and Bimmerfest is May 2nd.

sorry about the flyer, just tossed it in there since i thought it looked neat..
i was told theres gonna be gatherings and meet ups for a fun drive down to vegas for the ones up here in seattle, vancouver, oregen, etc.. sounds like fun.. my porsches been out of comission but hopefully i can get a BMW within the next month and get it started for this event.
