BTW, I never propped a front plate on any vehicle that I've owned in 40 years, and never had any issues. Now, that I've said that I will have someone with little else to do stop me.
So not to ask too stupid of a question about the event: given that the Redmond police were there hanging out all day, did they give anyone a hard time about the lack of front plates?
No, they are there to support us, not chase us away. We asked them to attend and they will likely be there every weekend to help backup our intent for the show. They are all car guys too. You will see a lot of Redmond police come out to see the cars each week. Nice guys too. Guys doing burnouts or trying to crash the event will kill the show so this is to make sure everyone behaves until we're at a point where the event is clearly defined.
