Flashback: Ferrari visit
I was just looking through some old pictures for something and came across these pictures! This was back in the summer of 2006 when I visited Ferrari in Maranello, Italy. I went on the factory tour where mom and I watched them build the F430 and I recall seeing some of the first production 599s back then. Of course we weren't allowed to take pictures inside but I can share the pictures taken at Ristorante Cavalino, right outside the factory where Enzo Ferrari used to eat.
This was a huge emblem

Outside in the field

The entrance

The factory entrance directly across from Cavalino

The Ferrari Store across the street along with Planet Hotel

Some of the many memorabilias within

Me outside the restaurant

I talked to this factory worker as he was leaving his shift. He had some interesting stories to share but I can't remember what they were at the moment. If I do, I'll post them here:

Me and mom making a toast to Ferrari

This soup was so good and light

Love a bill that has a Ferrari emblem on it

Earlier in the day I spotted a 612 wrapped up for some reason

And then over at Ristorante Montana situated on the Fiorano Circuit was equally as good if not even better. Michael Schumacher would eat here often. I sat in his favorite spot too.

Some cars being tested on the track

Some of the many memorabilias

This is what I had for lunch..it was one of the best pasta dishes I'd ever had!

And then I had this for dessert!

I also visited Galleria Ferrari where I saw a pledora of different Ferraris throughout the ages

This was my favorite, can anyone guess what it is?

They would rotate different models here periodically

Again, can anyone guess what this is..(I know, but I wanted to see if any of you guys could)

The different generations of F1 engines used throughout the ages

Two very serious supercars

There are more here: Galleria Ferrari album

There are 3 supercars in that pic! The 288GTO is by far the best
Thanks! I was trying to remember the name of that dessert! You filled in the blank for me! And yes, there was a 288 in that picture too. The Enzo was in the other room.
My guess is that's a 340 or 375 America early to mid 1950's in your can you guess what this is picture.....
Nice looking I still want a 61' 250 California Spider before any of them
