Golf anyone ??
So for driving range day, what day would work best for the majority of you guys? A weeknight evening (I think most places are open till 9 pm) or maybe a Sunday any time during the day?

Oh and FYI Jody, some courses don't like people riding along in the carts unless you're playing. Sarah was kicked off the course at Bellevue Muncie one time as she was just riding along with me while I played. Something about insurance....
^^good to know. thanks james!
that way, if i go with you guys and play on the course, you'll just have to wear tshirts that say "i don't know her. she followed us here". so when i swing and miss, and swing and miss, and swing and miss again, you guys don't have to claim that you know me!

I can see their point though. What if she was hit by someone's tee shot. The guy kept saying something about liability, playing, etc. Not that big a deal really. She finished out the side with me, then hung out in the club house until I was done.
Cool! Sounds like we have some driving range interest going! I'll plan a driving range day for everyone and then maybe Jimmy wants to plan an actual golf day on the course?
okay...i just checked with the driving range at newcastle and asked about having a group come up for a driving range day. he said sunday would probably a better day for a group. he suggests coming at or after 5 pm since that's when most people leave. that way, we would all get a spot and can all go at the same time.
sooo......how does sunday, june 7th sound? or the 14th? i want to give plenty of notice to everyone.
oh...and there is a dress code. so your bud t-shirts and cut off's won't fly. Hahaha!
Here it is:
Dress Code (applies to all areas including golf course & practice facility)
Proper golf attire and etiquette required. No denim is allowed at the facility. Collared shirts with sleeves required. Non-metal spikes required (spike changeout $10).

well....we can push it out another week if that works for everyone. i want to make sure to give plenty of notice.
june 14th is the following sunday. does that work for most? let's stick to the 14th and see how that goes. i'll give it a few days to see how this day works and if we have a few, then i'll post up the details all in one spot.
