Oregon Raceway Park on 20-21 June anyone?

I just thought I'd post up and see if anyone else was planning on heading out to Oregon Raceway Park (ORP) for the 20-21 track day events.

It's a PCA (Oregon) event but you do not need to be a member to join us.

Apparently, the facilities are pretty rustic so, being a bit of a track rat, I'm planning on camping out there.

I would join you Bleu, but my trackable car is on the east coast right now for a few weeks. Not much in terms of facilities out there right now but it's in a continual state of improvement and development. The access road to the track is expected to be fully paved by the end of June. Hopefully there will be a local fuel source for 92+ octane by this summer. Right now you will need to carry your own fuel or drive 30 miles for it. There are smaller hotels nearby in Biggs, as well as a couple of decent ones with well-lighted parking in The Dalles. There is also a B&B style hunting lodge/ranch a mile or two up the road from the track. But it is almost a religious experience being out there IMO

Gigharbor, That's what I hear. Supposedly it is very Infineon like, minus the sheep. I look forward to judging that for myself though.

I am planning on taking fuel cans. It's in the Lotus though, if I'm not towing down there. It should be fun. Camping in a tent at the track, unless I wuss out and drive to a hotel, should be fun.
