The 2010 Chevy Camaro
I love it, just looked at one yesterday...but in yellow......black looks soooo much better. The interior is actually growing on me after seeing 3 or 4. And I love the way you sit in the car and the pedal relationship to the wheel.
And Mark that LS3 is no joke, yes its blunted by the Camaro's weight but it still has more to give once its past break in miles.

Congrats Mark.
I *LOVE* the sound in that youtube clip.
I don't know why GM insists on making the nastiest interiors for its US market. The European GM products (eg Vauxhall, Opel) have REALLY nice interiors. The Vauxhall Astra for example had a gorgeous interior (for an economy car), and when GM imported for the US market they completely killed it with a one-two punch -- completely destroying its interior with tacky cheap plastic everywhere, and selling it under the Saturn brand.
One only has to look at the interior of any GM product to understand why they're now enjoying new ownership courtesy of chapter-11. "You can't fix stupid" should be their logo.
Now, I'm going to have to go a little "au contraire mon frere" and say that Ford produce far superior product than GM. Sure, there's some dogs in the line-up, but take a look at a Focus, Escape, Flex, Fusion and you'll immediately see why Ford are (brace yourself for an ugly word not used much in connection with the domestic car manufacturers) .... profitable.

Love the looks of that thing. Can't wait to see it. For the money, I think they are pretty decent. You are not buying luxury for that price. I would definitely buy one if I was looking for something to buy.
Mark, love the car!
I think the new car pays great homage to the original and probably a whole lot better mechanically, etc.
I remember the original like it was yesterday. For instance--On the original, Chevy used springs on the door detent mechanism, and after a short time these mechanisms would get rusty and squeak. Chevy and WD-40 were in cahoots to keeps the noises down. The hide-away-lights were also problematic, cars back then drove around 'winking' at other cars when one door wouldn't close properly. Anyway, those were the good ol' days.
