So I borrowed Jason's car while my S60 was in the shop. I didnt realize this 20 year old STOCK Accord can be so fast..... 0-60 in less than 5 seconds.

Yep, this is the newest MANLY car on the block. She's got 580 hp under the hood powered by steroid infused gerbils running in tandem with one another. She would get up to speed faster but it's limited by tire drag and rust where the sun don't shine.

 

what gives. The timer on the video says 10 seconds.

Look at the speedo and compare that with the timer on the video. You've got to factor in the lag time in which he steps on the gas and the time it actually goes past 60.

 

I don't know. I might give him 8 or 9 seconds. He has a rolling start. I know, I'm a honda hater.

 

How the hell is that thing geared? Notice the tach hardly moves. I bet his chanced out the diff & the speedo is off.

Joke's on you. The speedometer's broken. After 20mph or so, the speedometer rolls from 0-80 pretty quickly. At "80", I go WHOO!!! until cars started to whiz past me and realized I was only doing 50mphish.
