Best wishes mark & caryl!!!
Greta thank you for the nice post.....Yesterday was fantastic. We are going to the 13,800 ft level tomorrow of one of the Volcano's. This place is really cool. We've seen some great stuff and are hoping to see more over the next few days.
Thanks for all the kind words guys....Trevor????........Caryl says thanks

The rain has been crazy a couple of times

and lots of sun

The Volcano's are my favorite

2000 degree ponds of molten rock

and some cool Lava through a skylight

Caryl and my soon to be daughter in law taking her final steps of being single to the beach

No more wedding pics Greta....waiting on some
We did do a little walkabout the last two days. I must say I spent a lot of time now behind the wheel of a Jeep Wrangler over 350 miles in two days and its my new favorite rental car.
We took a trip to the top of Mauna Kea 13,789ft to the Observatories
over 9000 vertical feet in 10 miles very cool drive

Caryl got a little altitude sickness so stayed in the rig

To date the 2nd prettiest road I have ever driven 28 miles of twisties in a rain forest

A 500 meter Lava tube at Kilauea

This island has the coolest Canopy trees I have ever seen

Found a new Horse Trailer for Jason's mini horsies

Got a Beer at a not so local bar

Threw a rock off of the furthest South point of the United States

And watched the sun go down there

Saw some more Rain Forests but this time we Zipped thru the middle of it

She just had to take pictures of the waterfall below

last zip over 1000ft long over a 350ft deep ravine

Looks like you had a great time!! When we were over there last year, we also rented a Jeep, & were both surprised how good it was as we drove over the entire island.
Funny, we were there for a friends wedding, it's a great place to have one!

For sure the Jeep was perfect for this trip. Amazingly comfortable for a day driving around and you can beat it to death with no worries plus it got good gas mileage
I am glad you like the Jeep. I had mine SRT-8 for 2 years. It was rock solid until I traded it last weekend. Longest DD car I've ever kept.
