Exotics at Redmond Town Center is ON for June 12!
Jason, great shot as always! It looks like you are going through a wheel & b rake phase.
Are you using a 2.8 lens or less? You get some great depth of field.
Mark, is that your Brilliant Red E30 M3 is @ the end? It's been a while!

Wow! Thanks for taking some shots for my screen saver. I have hundreds of pics I have taken over the years trying to get "the shot" and you did it in less than five minutes. You definitely have talent behind the lens.
To be fair, Jason has been doing this years! He also has VERY nice equipment. But yes, he is a great shot! I still have a few of his shots from about 10 years ago!
Most of my lenses are f/2.8. The only way to roll, baby! I don't know if that E30 M3 was Mark's. If you mean Mark Baker. He showed up with his E39 M5 but maybe a friend drove it for him?
Speaking of which, Mark, are there other places that we could go to where I could check out those missiles? And hell yes, I'd love to do a photo shoot with our cars together! I miss my M5!
Funny you should say that because I have been finding myself taking more shots of wheels/brakes. I don't know why. Maybe I should try something else for a change, huh?

Thank you...you're right, I have been doing it for 20+ years. Mom gave me my first dSLR when I was 14 and I've been doing it ever since. Love it! What shots are those? I'm curious now..

Yea, try & get the WHOLE car, I know it hurts the inner artist, but some times I want to know what car the rims are from.

I thought so, dam 2.8's are EXPENSIVE! I might get one 2.8, then one non-zoom 1.8. It kills me that I can't get the background blur with full aperture. Mine are 3.5's
Yea Mark Baker, we used to hang out back in the day. You remember we were a really tight group back then.
WOW, didn't think it had been that long, I remember you & Sam Du with your old Nicon flip thing digital. I got some pics of West Seattle water front, & CCA Concours.

It IS possible to get good bokeh with even a f/3.5 lens. Just have to do it correctly. And in your other thread, I noticed you had trouble with capturing cars in motion. That can be tricky but I can share a few tips if you'd like. I don't want to go too far off topic in this thread.

Here's a nice one I did of Kuzi's CS at ORP last week

I do remember hanging out with all you guys back then..we were pretty tight but that's kind of gotten loosened up since then. I haven't forgotten about most of you guys though. I see the old crew every now and then. And yes, I still have many of those pictures from those days. I was asking YOU to post the ones that YOU have that I took. I was curious which ones you were referring to. Email them to me if you have to.
Would you believe that Nikon flip camera was my first digital camera. A Coolpix 950 and I still have it...and it still works!!!
Memory lane...

Of course some from the other Theater in South Center where we used to meet up before Bahama Breeze tore it down.
I'll have to go through all my pics, but here is one.

I do need some help, this camera does WAY more then any of the others, & it
s a bit much. That was my first time using it!

New to 6speed
Just found out about Redmond Exotics and thinking about showing up June 19th weather permitting.
I have an Aston Martin Vantage, how many Aston's usually show up?
How early should I show up?

Oh Darn! Can't believe I missed this! New to the forum and just saw this post too late.
Absolutely stunning photos, Jason--the next best thing to being there.
Hope to be at the next "exotics" around here!

BTW, who had the red 348 on Saturday morning? I followed it to 85th via 520/405 and its aftermarket exhaust (brand?) sounded fantastic!
